From its well-regarded search engine to its plethora of products, Google has carved out significant slices of online activity and mindshare since its founders first made it available.
Much of that mindshare comes from the business tools Google offers. Google Apps now serves as the productivity tool for cities like Los Angeles and Edmonton, where people write business documents using Google Docs and draft spreadsheets and presentations online as well. Businesses post things like recruiting and PR videos to YouTube, where they can go viral on social networks like Google +.
Google is about more than reasonably-priced software as a service (also commonly referred to as cloud computing). From computers sporting the Chrome browser to smartphones and tablets running the Android mobile operating system, Google continues to enable collaboration wherever business happens.
