About TechnoZen

Back to the blog

There are people who easily understand technology. They can fix computers, learn how to use cell phones without reading manuals and provide all sorts of technology advice and opinions.

This blog isn’t for those people. It’s for the other 95% of us. Those of us who are obliged to use computers and other types of technology, and want it all to be as easy to use as our toasters.

Computers like that may be far off in the future, but in the meantime, we can learn the little tricks that make everyday technology easier to work with. That can make our technology more toaster-like. That lead us all closer to the zen that technology promises.

This blog delivers:

  • one technology tip each Monday (so that you can practice it during the work week, if you like)
  • automotive reviews on alternating Mondays (I like cars, and I take a particular interest in the technology that automakers continue to develop)
  • useful insights into the world of technology
  • links to stuff about technology (written by me and others)
  • any clarifications you need – just ask for them in the comments

About the author

Hi. I’m Luigi Benetton. I write about technology for businesses and trade and consumer publications. I’ve written for Microsoft and Allstream, as well as The Toronto Star and cbc.ca.

I have also designed and led computer training courses, so I know that what so many people in the technology industry consider straightforward can be anything but. This blog is my attempt to counter the complexity. To simplify.
