I can’t count the number of times that I’ve blogged about the importance of styles in programs like Microsoft Word.
Styles matter if:
- you regularly create lengthy documents that must look good to others.
- you want to reduce the amount of time you spend formatting documents.
Styles are such powerful tools that all kinds of word processors include them. Here’s a video that shows how to use styles in Pages, a word processor made by Apple. The tools look different than what you would find in Microsoft Word but the concepts are the same. These concepts are so clearly presented here that even people who don’t use Pages will quickly understand the power of styles.
